Why do 'Response'?

'Response' is part of the new(ish) "emerging church" movement. It is designed to make worship a more meaningful experience for those of us who struggle with mainstream denominational Christian worship.

In this post-modern era many of us feel the need for worship which allows us to express our individuality, and to respond to God in our own uniquely personal way. It has been said that worship is nothing more than our response to God, and so there is a need for a style of service where we are free to explore ways of expressing ourselves at a very personal level. This is the aim of 'Response' services. Whether you feel adoration, anger, gratitude or frustration, our hope is that 'Response' will allow you to express those feelings in a positive way and open the door to experiential spiritual growth, and to a meaningful dialogue with God.
